It is a startling fact that at least one residential break-in occurs in the U.S. every 14 seconds. The majority of these intruders enter through open and unprotected windows. However, Hackett Security is proud to provide a solution for this. This proven, dependable security device which has been used in millions of windows to deter and detect break-ins, even if the window is open, is called a Security Screen.

The concept of the Security Screen is really quite simple. Your existing frame, or new custom made frame, is screened with a special alarm mesh which has interwoven detection wires every four inches. There is also a magnetic reed switch tamper and plug connector which are internally wired together withing the screen frame to form a protective grid which is then plugged into your alarm system.

These screens provide fantastic security and are almost undetectable.  What this means to you is that you do not have to install ugly bars or other unsightly features to your home while protecting yourself from intruders.
